Why the smiley face?
Growing up, my father would always sign his notes from him with a smiley face. Anyone who has ever received a letter from him will have seen this smiley face.
My sister and I love it so much, we each have a tattoo of the smile.
Also, I am a child of the 80s with a heart in the 90s. Smiley faces are a part of my core being.
